Project Type: Environmental Graphics. Client: MacEwan University. Date: June 2021
Studio5341—made up of designers John Naboye, Angel Poon, Quinton Wong, and myself—had the honour of working with MacEwan University to create a set of wall graphics for the newly renovated John L. Haar Library. This project was meant to capture the spirit of youthful energy and community that is created inside the walls of the library for MacEwan's 50th anniversary. Bold supergraphics are a recurring motif that brings forth a retro, yet timeless aesthetic to the walls. This paired with simple, geometric shapes and symbols helps to communicate the values of MacEwan University in a stylistic manner.
