Hysteria is a collection of short horror stories that was produced during my second-year typography class. I volunteered to take on the task of designing the front and back-matter for the publication. This role allowed us to conceptualize the overall look and feel of the publication, utilizing an agreed upon set of colours and typefaces. The project as a whole was very experimental, and allowed students to have fun with their designated spreads. Handwritten motifs are present throughout the publication, giving the collection a more intimate and personalized feeling.
